QPR are hoping to secure a deal for Ivan Nevistic in these early stages of the summer window
QPR are preparing for another season in the Championship after coming 15th in the table for a second consecutive season.
Since coming ninth in 2021, the Hoops have earned 11th, 20th, 18th, 15th and 15th place finishes.
The London outfit will be looking to improve on that with a proactive summer transfer window that can bolster the first team squad.
Julien Stéphan will be keen to strengthen the side in what will be his second season in charge after arriving last summer following Martí Cifuentes’ departure.
QPR haven’t competed in the Premier League since 2015, and have not even reached the play-offs in the time since then.
However, the competition will expand to include the top eight in 2027, offering the club an improved chance at being able to fight for a position in the first tier.

It has been reported by Croatian outlet 24 Sata that QPR are keen on a deal for Ivan Nevistić this summer.
The Championship side want to bring the 27-year-old to Loftus Road in a bid to solve their goalkeeping issues for next season.
It is expected that a deal could come together quite quickly, with clubs looking to get moves done in these early stages of the summer market.
Dinamo Zagreb are believed to be willing to cash in on the shot-stopper, but they have yet to receive a concrete offer from QPR at this stage.
Nevistić has made 59 appearances in the Croatian top flight for Zagreb, playing a role in three title wins and a second place finish in that time.
He has earned plaudits for his performances, and could now become the new number one choice at Loftus Road.
Stéphan opted for three different options at QPR this season, with Paul Nardi making 31 appearances in the Championship.
Ben Hamer featured on seven occasions, while Joe Walsh played 23 times, with all three facing criticism from supporters for their performances.
It remains to be seen what kind of fee it will take to convince the Croatian outfit to cash in on Nevistić this summer, but it’s understood they will not stand in his way of a move.
Stéphan will be key to nail down the goalkeeper position early in the summer, so that the club can prioritise improving the outfield options in the squad for next season in the remainder of the transfer market.

Goalkeeper is clearly a problem area for QPR, and one that Stéphan will want to get sorted as quickly as possible.
Nevistić has the potential to be a very promising signing, depending on the overall cost of the deal, and at the age of 27 he is now in the prime of his career.
Getting this deal sorted before the World Cup starts would be a promising start to the summer market, and will allow the club to focus on improving their outfield options for the remainder of the market.
QPR didn’t have the most promising of ends to the season, but if they can solve their issues in goals then that could result in finding a lot of lost points over the course of next season.
