The 37-year-old has enjoyed a brilliant career, which started out at non-league Harrow Borough, and he has gone on to feature for the likes of Bristol City, Aston Villa and Middlesbrough, among others, over a period of almost two decades.

Adomah is also well-known for his time with the R’s, as he joined the Londoners, the club he supported as a boy, in 2020, and he went on to wear the blue-and-white hoops over 100 times.

QPR react to landmark Albert Adomah moment with social media post

Whilst he may no longer play 90 minutes every game, Adomah is still making a contribution for the Saddlers, and he was given a start in their EFL Trophy clash against Shrewsbury on Tuesday.

It proved to be a good night for Walsall and the player, as they won 3-1, with Adomah getting on the scoresheet, as well as registering an assist.

That was a significant moment for the winger personally, as it was his 100th career club goal, a feat that was recognised by Walsall on social media.

Their post also drew a response from QPR, as they simply replied ‘love it’ to the former player.

QPR will hold a special place in Albert Adomah’s heart

Firstly, you have to say that it’s a great achievement for Adomah to reach 100 league goals, and the fact he is still playing at 37 shows he has dedicated himself to the sport over the years.

So, it’s nice for him to reach 100 career goals, something that many players will not achieve, and he will no doubt appreciate the support QPR have shown him on social media.

Whilst he has turned out for many clubs in his career, playing for the R’s will have been a highlight for Adomah considering he grew up as a fan, and he enjoyed some great moments in a QPR shirt, with those on the terraces loving the effort and commitment he showed at the club.

It remains to be seen how long his career will play out, but Adomah will no doubt hope that he still has more goals left in him as he tries to help Walsall win promotion.
