Olympique de Marseille have officially announced the signing of Quinten Timber from Feyenoord.
The midfielder, who was in the final months of his contract, joins the club for a fee reported to be worth €4.5 million.
"At 24, Quinten Timber has definitely changed status. Now recognised for his own qualities, he is one of the best Dutch midfielders. His arrival at Olympique de Marseille, under the management of Roberto De Zerbi, should allow him to increase his playing time in a French league that is about to discover him," wrote the French club on their official website.
Throughout his career, Quentin Timber, who is the brother of Arsenal's Jurrien Timber, has always played in his home country. He first represented Ajax and then FC Utrecht before moving to Rotterdam in the summer of 2022. Timber also made his national team debut in 2024 in a friendly match against Germany.
This season, the player made a total of 24 appearances for Feyenoord, contributing to seven goals.
