Raba is a late doubt for Valencia’s trip to Burgos after muscle discomfort, despite completing the final session with the squad.
According to AS, he trained in Paterna but needs medical clearance to travel. He had been in line to start at El Plantío.
Signed on a free from Leganés last summer, he agreed terms through June 2027. He began LaLiga as a starter then faded, his last league appearance coming on the first of December in Vallecas for one minute.
He has 248 minutes this season. In the cup he has started all three games, scoring two goals, the last at El Molinón to settle the Sporting tie.
Several clubs have shown interest this window, including Leganés, but he does not want Segunda. Valencia would not oppose a January exit, yet the decision rests with the player, who is settled and due to become a father in March.
Corberán said procedures have begun with LaLiga to free Diakhaby’s registration after a long term injury. He avoided talk of reinforcements beyond centre-back, though the club are working across the team and need departures to free slots. One is available now and they await LaLiga’s approval for another.
For now, Raba’s issue curbs his chances at El Plantío, where he had a strong chance of starting and convincing Carlos Corberán.
