Rangers are reportedly on the verge of appointing German tactician Danny Röhl as their new head coach.
That's according to a story in the Athletic on Monday which claims that the 36-year-old is ready to take over from Russell Martin despite having rejected their advances earlier in the month.
Martin was sacked by the Ibrox outfit 10 days ago following his disastrous start to life with the Gers.
But it had been claimed by several sources that Australian coach Kevin Muscat would come in as his replacement over the weekend.
Despite being at an advanced stage that deal collapsed on Sunday, leaving Rangers going back to Röhl for a second time.
The former Sheffield Wednesday boss, who left the Yorkshire side over the summer following their off-field problems, has now agreed to take over at Rangers with a deal likely to be signed in the coming days.
