Barcelona star Raphinha has on Sunday secured for himself a place in a special club.

This comes owing to the Brazilian’s exploits during the Blaugrana’s La Liga meeting with Sevilla.

Hansi Flick’s troops are of course fresh off a dominant victory on the domestic front, making short work of Sevilla to the tune of a 5-2 result.

The aforementioned Raphinha featured from the off in the fixture, and went on to prove himself the star of the show.

The former Leeds United man rattled off a fine hat-trick, alongside further goals on the part of Dani Olmo, and João Cancelo.

Raphinha’s first two goals came from the penalty spot, to guide Barca into a comfortable first-half advantage.

And in the process, the explosive winger etched his name into the history books…

As per statisticians Opta:

‘Raphinha is the sixth Barcelona player to score two penalties in a single LaLiga game in the 21st century, following Patrick Kluivert in 2002, Samuel Eto’o in 2005, Lionel Messi on three occasions (twice in 2012 and 2014), Neymar in 2015 and Luis Suárez in 2016.’
