Marcus Rashford has rejected a hugely lucrative offer from an unnamed Saudi Pro League club as he only wants to join Barcelona this summer.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the club offered a deal worth £34 million, but the 27-year-old rejected their proposal.

United are open to offers for Rashford as they look to boost their spending power.

They sent the forward on loan to Aston Villa for the second half of last season, where he bagged four goals and six assists in 17 appearances.

However, Rashford is deemed surplus to requirements at Old Trafford and the Red Devils are ready to sell to whoever will match their £40m valuation.

Rashford has made it clear that he wants to play for Barcelona next season. The La Liga giants are keen, but the financial costs are a major stumbling block.

He is currently paid £325,000 per week at United, and the Catalan giants are unable to match those terms.

Barcelona are interested in signing Rashford on loan with an option to buy included in the deal.

United want a permanent deal, as they want the money to strengthen their squad for next season.

They have already completed a move for Matheus Cunha and are currently in talks to seal a transfer for Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo.
