Roma has been working for some time to sign Giacomo Raspadori to Gian Piero Gasperini.
The coach values the player and wants him as soon as possible to strengthen his attacking line.
At the press conference, the Piedmontese coach had a funny exchange: “Any news on Raspadori? Ask in Spain…” he told reporters. The Roman club has reached a full agreement with the Spanish club.
As reported by Il Tempo, however, a deal with the 2000-born player is still pending. The Giallorossi are working to finalize the final details and avoid Lazio’s push for a move.
As Gianluca Di Marzio adds, Atlético Madrid has informed Raspadori that they have reached an agreement with Roma for his transfer to the capital.
The two clubs are now awaiting the player’s decision.
The former Napoli player has taken three or four days to decide his future and provide a response to the clubs. Lazio and Galatasaray remain strongly interested in him.
