According to Sky Sports, €120 million is viewed as a realistic figure after Real Madrid’s second offer worth €115 million, and RB Leipzig want a higher guaranteed fee rather than performance-related bonuses.
Talks between the clubs continued on Monday over a potential big-money transfer, and Leipzig have not rejected the latest proposal.
Negotiations are now focused on the sell-on clause and the payment structure.
Yan Diomande has rejoined Leipzig’s training camp after his post-World Cup holiday.
CD Leganés will be guaranteed to receive between five and eight percent of the transfer fee under a prior agreement with Leipzig, following the Ivorian’s €20 million move last summer.
