Real Madrid see the midfield as one of the top priorities for the summer transfer window, and are in a rush to reinforce the position with top-quality targets who are available on the market.
In addition to the usual set of elite targets that they desire to sign as ‘Galacticos’, Los Blancos also have an eye on some of their former academy stars who are currently developing on loan across Europe.
One player, on that front, who catches their attention is Chema Andres who is currently shining on loan at VfB Stuttgart.
As confirmed by Matteo Moretto on Radio MARCA, Real Madrid are closely monitoring the situation of Chema Andres in Germany and are attentive to his growth and development as a top talent. However, they do not intend to bring him back just yet.
Los Blancos see the player as developing well at Stuttgart and thus prioritise that he takes another year away from Real Madrid to further his development into an elite-level star.

They hope he will stay in the Bundesliga for another season and turn into a far more mature player than he is now, thereby making it clear that they are playing a long-term game in his case.
Andres’ development and quality has not gone unnoticed beyond the eyes of the Real Madrid scouts, and some top European clubs are already lining up to sign him in June by making inquiries.
Real Madrid, however, are unfazed by that development and plan to bring him back in the summer of 2027. They do hold a buyback clause on him and the player is also open to a return home.
For the coming summer window, Nico Paz appears to be the chosen academy graduate to return to the club as it is too early for Andres to make the jump. The team’s situation a year later and the player’s development at Stuttgart will play a key role in deciding the club’s decision a year from now.
