The latest winner of the Player of the Month award at La Liga giants Real Madrid has this week been unveiled.
And his identity should come as little surprise…
The player in question? Jude Bellingham.
Midfielder Bellingham for his part featured from the off in all four of Real Madrid’s fixtures across all competitions in November.
And, along the way, the England international rediscovered his goalscoring touch.
After finding the net for the first time all season in a La Liga drubbing of Osasuna, the 21-year-old went on to add an assist, too. In his return to action post-international break, Bellingham was then on target again, against Leganés.
Not only that, but the former Borussia Dortmund man went on to play a direct hand in both of Real’s goals en route to victory over Getafe at the weekend (albeit with as much having come on December 1st).
All of this taken into consideration, it should in turn come as little surprise to hear of Bellingham’s efforts this week being recognised.
As confirmed across social media, the youngster has beaten out competition from the likes of Federico Valverde and Vinícius Jr, to scoop Los Blancos’ Player of the Month award for November.
