In a recent report, Fichajes stated that Real Madrid are showing interest in recruiting Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic. It has been mentioned that Los Blancos are eyeing a move to lure the Serbian talent to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium next year.

Vlahovic’s Impressive Form In Serie A

The 25-year-old has made a decent start to this campaign as he has put in a string of impressive displays for Juve in the final third. Vlahovic has banged in six goals and earned two assists in 16 appearances for the Turin outfit this season across multiple competitions.

The Serbian sensation has given a good account of himself on the offensive end of the field and has done well to average 3.88 shots per 90 minutes in Serie A. He has kept 32.1% of his attempts on target. However, Vlahovic has to find a way to improve his ball distribution after completing 68.5% of his attempted passes in league football (stats via fbref.com).

His current contract at the Turin club will run out in the summer of 2026, which could open the door for Real Madrid to sign him on a free transfer next year.

Should Real Madrid Boss Xabi Alonso Go For Vlahovic?

Vlahovic is proficient at finding a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He has got the vision to create some decent chances for others around him in the final third and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet.

The Serbian talent has proven himself to be a reliable frontman in Serie A. However, the jury is out on whether he can replicate his form in La Liga if Los Blancos manage to snap him up next year.

Vlahovic would no doubt enhance the quality of Real Madrid boss Xabi Alonso’s attack. He is good enough to help Los Blancos challenge across all fronts in the coming years.

At 25, Vlahovic has got his peak years ahead of him, which makes him a worthy target for the Madrid giants to pursue in 2026. Furthermore, he is on an expiring contract and would be an affordable choice for Los Blancos to consider at the end of this campaign. All in all, Alonso would be wise to go for Vlahovic next summer.
