Inbound Real Madrid signing Dean Huijsen on Sunday saw his efforts over the course of the season with Bournemouth aptly recognised.
This came by way of the award for the Cherries’ Player of the Season.
Youngster Huijsen is for his part fresh off a spectacular year in the Premier League, with Bournemouth.
After making the move to the Vitality Stadium from Italian heavyweights Juventus, the 20-year-old went on to take to the challenges of English football like a duck to water.
All told, Huijsen racked up 36 appearances across all competitions, chipping in with three goals and two assists in the Premier League alone.
And as alluded to above, his efforts along the way, on Sunday, earned for the stopper a piece of individual silverware.
Ahead of being unveiled as a Real Madrid player next week, Huijsen was this evening presented with the award for Bournemouth’s official Player of the Season for 2024/25.
