On Saturday, Real Madrid were officially confirmed as the winners of the 2023-24 La Liga title. Their victory over Cadiz was followed up by Girona defeating Barcelona, and those results mean that they cannot be caught at the summit of the table.

Carlo Ancelotti and his squad held a small in-house celebration to mark the achievement, but opted to organise nothing major, as they have the second leg of their Champions League semi-final clash against Bayern Munich on Wednesday, as they go in search for their 15th title. That meant that they did not go to La Cibeles, which disappointed those that were in attendance.

Diario AS have revealed that the celebration parade will instead take place next Sunday. Visits to the Madrid City Hall and the headquarters of the Community will take place, before the classic meeting with their fans at the fountain of La Cibeles. Nacho Fernandez, as captain, will put the scarf to the goddess for the first time in his career.

It promises to be a fantastic spectacle for those Real Madrid fans in attendance, and there could be a further parade if they pick up their 15th Champions League/European Cup title at the start of next month.
