In a major development, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has reported that Real Madrid forward Endrick could be closing in on a January move to Olympique Lyon.
The 19-year-old striker could be headed to the Groupama Stadium in the winter on a straight loan deal with no buy option included.
With Endrick not featuring even once so far this season for Real Madrid, a loan exit in January seemed like a given for a while now.
Reports of interest from Lyon emerged earlier this week, with the French club’s manager, Paulo Fonseca, even hinting at a move on Friday.
Now, as per Romano, Endrick is giving his total priority to Lyon and talks are advancing on the player’s side over a possible January switch.

A final decision will be made next week, but the Real Madrid and Brazil striker is very keen on joining Les Gones for the second half of the season.
Signed from Palmeiras in a deal worth €35 million plus €25 million in add-ons, Endrick endured a difficult debut season at Real Madrid in 2024/25.
There were some big moments as he scored important goals, but minutes were scarce under manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Having been out injured from May until September, the 19-year-old did not get a proper chance to make an early impression on new manager Alonso. Since returning over a month back, though, the striker has not played even a single minute.
As such, a loan move to Lyon will be a welcome opportunity for Endrick, as he will be joining a team competing for the Ligue 1 title and playing in the UEFA Europa League.
