La Liga leaders Real Madrid have on Friday been dealt a fresh blow on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation that defensive star Dean Huijsen is set for an incoming spell on the sidelines.
Real Madrid are of course primed to return to action on Saturday, when they make the trip to Pamplona to take on Osasuna.
Los Blancos’ travelling squad for the fixture, in turn, was unveiled earlier this evening.
As expected, none of Éder Militão, Jude Bellingham or Rodrygo were anywhere to be seen, owing to respective fitness problems.
The absence of the aforementioned Dean Huijsen, though, came as more of a surprise.
Stopper Huijsen featured from the off in midweek, as Real Madrid put Benfica to the sword in the Champions League.
The Spanish international, though, has since picked up what has been described simply as ‘a muscle injury’.
He is set for a spell of five to seven days on the sidelines, ahead of a race against time to feature in next week’s 2nd leg against Benfica.
