Real Madrid icon Marcelo has named the one player from Hansi Flick’s Barcelona squad whom he would take across the Clásico divide.

And the Brazilian has not opted for the likes of attacking stars Raphinha or Lamine Yamal.

Instead, given the opportunity, Marcelo would bring Pedri to Real Madrid with immediate effect.

Speaking during an interview with DjMaRiiO, as cited by Diario Sport, late this week, the former left-back revealed his take that:

“Right now I would sign Pedri for Madrid. He has little things about Madrid. Everyone would say Lamine, but I think Pedri would be a better signing.”

Turning focus back towards matters on the pitch, Barcelona could yet be forced to make do without the contributions of engine room standout Pedri this weekend.

As much comes with the Spanish international’s status to face Villarreal having been thrown up in the air, after he missed training on Friday with a muscular complaint.
