Vinicius Jr. made the headlines after Real Madrid’s 2-1 win over FC Barcelona this past Sunday, thanks to his angry outburst directed at manager Xabi Alonso for being substituted.
After seeing his number being put up, the Brazilian winger was seen lashing out at the Real Madrid boss, and he even headed directly for the locker room, before eventually returning to the bench.
Much has been made of the incident, with reports suggesting that Vinicius’ trust in Alonso has shattered and that it could get difficult for them to coexist if the situation does not improve.
Amidst all this, El Chiringuito now reports that the Real Madrid locker room is not at all angry or frustrated with Vinicius over his actions on Sunday following his substitution.

In fact, the 25-year-old superstar remains one of the most favourite members in the dressing room and there is no anger towards him over his reaction for being subbed off by the manager in the Clasico.
Vinicius had been one of Real Madrid’s best players on the pitch against Barcelona and had been causing them all sorts of problems on the day. So, his reaction, in a high-octane clash with huge stakes, can be understandable.
Nevertheless, it is imperative for the player and Alonso to address the matter and put the issue to bed once and for all for the better of the team moving forward.
After all, Vinicius is one of the best in his position and will be key to the team’s success, while the player must also remember to set an example, for he is one of the captains this season.
