The international break is just around the corner and Real Madrid are expected to have a number of players fly away to represent their respective national teams.
As already confirmed, Rodrygo, Vinicius Jr., and Eder Militao will be travelling to Asia for Brazil’s friendlies against South Korea and Japan.
Meanwhile, Kylian Mbappe and Eduardo Camavinga have been called up by France for their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Azerbaijan and Iceland. Brahim Diaz is also a part of the Morocco squad.
However, according to MARCA, there may be some respite for Federico Valverde, with Uruguay manager Marcelo Bielsa considering the possibility of resting him this month.
La Celeste will face off against the Dominican Republic and Uzbekistan, scheduled for 10 and 13 October during the second international break of the season.

The fact that both matches are friendlies, coupled with the additional effort required for travel to Malaysia where both games will be played, could lead to Valverde being released from international duty.
This is despite the fact that the Real Madrid midfielder is Uruguay’s vice-captain and insists on playing every possible game for the national team.
A rest may benefit the 27-year-old midfielder, who has not been at his best of late and found himself dragged into some baseless controversy this week. And Bielsa is considering the option of leaving him behind.
The Uruguay head coach was in Madrid last week delivering a lecture to fellow coaches, and it is expected that he will have spoken with the Real Madrid star to evaluate his condition.
It does, however, seem more likely that Valverde will feature in November, when Uruguay face Mexico and the United States in friendlies in those respective countries.
If confirmed, the October break would provide the player with a valuable opportunity to recover his best form after a dodgy start to the season under Xabi Alonso.
