Speculation around Brahim Diaz has picked up pace in recent days, but Real Madrid have already made a decision.
According to a report from Defensa Central, it has come to light that the club has no intention of selling the Moroccan international this summer, despite growing interest from Borussia Dortmund.
The German side has been monitoring Brahim’s situation closely and recently made enquiries ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
Their interest is not surprising, as Dortmund see him as a player who could immediately raise the technical level of their squad while also offering long-term potential.
From Dortmund’s perspective, the situation at Real Madrid presents a possible opening.
With attacking competition expected to increase, particularly with the future return of Rodrygo and the anticipated integration of Franco Mastantuono, there is a belief that Brahim could once again find himself pushed into a secondary role.
That potential shift in squad dynamics made him an attractive target.

Dortmund were also hopeful of leveraging their strong relationship with Real Madrid to explore a deal, believing negotiations could be smooth if the door was even slightly open.
However, any hope of a transfer has been firmly dismissed.
Internally, Real Madrid remain fully committed to Brahim, as they value his contribution to the squad. Crucially, Brahim also recently renewed his contract.
Sources close to the club indicate that the club has made their position very clear both publicly and privately.
Despite the noise surrounding his future, there is no plan to entertain offers.
While competition in attack is fierce, the club is not looking to trim depth recklessly.
Instead, they see Brahim as a valuable rotational option, someone capable of stepping in without a drop in quality.
