Despite growing speculation surrounding Federico Valverde in recent days, Real Madrid remain completely calm about the midfielder’s future and continue to see him as one of the untouchable figures inside the project.
The Uruguayan midfielder has found himself at the centre of intense media discussion following his clash with Aurelien Tchouameni, with many attempting to suggest growing instability around his future with the club.
However, according to fresh information from Defensa Central, the reality is very different from the noise being generated externally.
As per the outlet, Real Madrid have no doubts whatsoever regarding Valverde’s continuity beyond this season.
In fact, the club view many of the recent stories surrounding the midfielder as exaggerated attempts to damage his image and create uncertainty around one of the dressing room’s most respected personalities.
As such, both Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United are believed to be among the clubs closely monitoring Valverde’s situation.

Still, Real Madrid have made everyone aware that Valverde is not for sale.
Simply put, the Uruguayan is considered one of the central pillars of both the present and future project and the disagreement with Tchouameni has not changed that perception in the slightest.
On the contrary, Madrid see Valverde as one of the strongest leaders and someone who perfectly represents the mentality the club wants moving forward.
The biggest proof of Real Madrid’s confidence in Valverde may actually be linked to the captaincy situation.
With Dani Carvajal increasingly expected to move on soon, the club already see Valverde as the natural successor to wear the captain’s armband in the coming years.

Becoming captain at the Bernabeu carries enormous responsibility, and the club only hands that role to players viewed as examples both on and off the pitch.
For Madrid, Valverde has earned that status through years of sacrifice, consistency and commitment to the badge.
The midfielder is admired not only because of his performances, but also because of the personality he brings into the dressing room during difficult moments.
At this stage, there appears to be only one realistic scenario in which Valverde leaves Real Madrid: if the player himself personally asks to move elsewhere.
Otherwise, the club has no intention of opening the door regardless of outside pressure, transfer interest or recent tensions inside the squad.
