Olympique Lyon’s decision to loan Endrick in the January transfer window has worked wonders for the club.
The Brazilian international, who was struggling at Real Madrid with a lack of game time, has made an immediate impact in France.
In his first match for the club, Endrick scored a goal against LOSC Lille, helping his team advance further in the Coupe de France. In his second game against Stade Brest, he picked up an assist in a 2-1 victory.
However, Endrick’s most recent game for Lyon saw him bag a hat-trick and star in a comprehensive 5-2 win over Metz.
With four goals and one assist in three matches, the future of Endrick has immediately become a subject of much discussion.
To that end, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has offered an update on the future of Endrick, suggesting that Real Madrid have no desire to offload the Brazilian.

In fact, Real Madrid’s stance on Endrick is clear. They consider him a part of the club’s long-term project and will not offload him anytime soon.
It appears Los Blancos have been particularly impressed by Endrick’s performances since he joined Lyon on loan.
Not to mention, the change of managers have also seen Real Madrid drastically change their outlook towards the youngster.
While Romano adds that Lyon are indeed keen on extending the duration of the loan spell, the player firmly remains in Real Madrid’s plans.
It is, therefore, likely that the Brazilian will eventually return to the Santiago Bernabeu at the end of the season and start the new campaign as a critical part of Los Blancos‘ attacking unit.
