Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni looks likely to miss their fixture with Cadiz this weekend, after he exited training on Thursday. The French midfielder came away with a minor injury from their tie in Munich, but is expected to be back for the return leg with Bayern.

As per Diario AS, Tchouameni suffered a knock to his left foot during the match, and abandoned training limping and in clear pain. It is thought to be nothing more than bruising, but given it is the same foot he fractured in October means he is likely to rest against Cadiz this weekend, albeit he is not ruled out. He should be fully fit for the Bayern second leg though.

He is likely to be replaced by Eduardo Camavinga in midfield, who played just 26 minutes in Germany. There is also talk that Thibaut Courtois could make his season debut, after recovering from his meniscus issue, and making it to the bench in Munich.

Ancelotti has relied heavily on Tchouameni this season, and they are yet to lose a game he has started. Playing both at the back and in midfield this season, his presence seems to be synonymous with defensive security for Los Blancos, albeit they did outlast Manchester City without him.
