Real Madrid are gearing up for an important season ahead, where the club will be expected to compete with Barcelona after a poor 2024/25 campaign.
The club have roped in no less than four players in the market so far and there could be more as well, depending upon potential departures.
However, Real Madrid are not entirely desperate to get rid of their unwanted players, even if the player is keen on leaving the club.
According to MARCA, Real Madrid remain open to letting players leave this summer, but only on their own terms.
The club have made it clear that they will not ‘give away’ any player, regardless of whether the request to leave comes from the player himself or if the club has decided to sell.
In simple terms, every potential sale must be on terms that suit the club financially. Real Madrid are not willing to accept cut-price offers or last-minute deals just to clear space in the squad.

This comes against the backdrop of growing uncertainty over the future of multiple star players including Dani Ceballos and Rodrygo.
While Ceballos is still keen on sealing a return to Real Betis, Rodrygo has been closely linked with a move to the Premier League, with Liverpool reportedly keen on exacting revenge on Los Blancos by signing the Brazilian this summer.
The likes of Fran Garcia and Ferland Mendy are in contention to leave Real Madrid as well, especially after the summer arrival of Alvaro Carreras.
Xabi Alonso, for his part, has already given a stern message to all members in the team, reminding everyone of their roles and whether or not the will play a key role in the new season.
