Real Madrid are facing a challenging period marked by an ongoing injury crisis, particularly in defence, yet the club’s leadership remains calm about the matter.

According to an update shared by MARCA, the Spanish giants have no intention of entering the winter transfer market in search of reinforcements, even as key players remain sidelined.

It is said that the club officials see the current situation as temporary rather than structural.

While there is full awareness that the list of absentees is worrying, the feeling is that patience, not panic, is the correct response.

Injuries, after all, are viewed as an unavoidable part of life at an elite club competing across multiple competitions.

Real Madrid are already in trouble

The defensive unit has been hit hardest. For weeks now, Real Madrid have been dealing with what many within the club privately describe as an almost biblical run of bad luck.

Long-term injuries to Eder Militao and David Alaba have already weakened the back line, while Trent Alexander-Arnold is also unavailable.

On top of that, there is growing concern around the physical condition of Antonio Rudiger and Raul Asencio.

Despite this alarming context, there is no plan to dip into the January market.

Decision-makers believe that once players begin to return, the squad will once again show its true depth and balance.

They feel that short-term signings would neither solve the root of the problem nor fit into the club’s long-term sporting strategy.

At Valdebebas, there is strong confidence in the current squad’s ability to cope, provided the injury wave is brought under control.

The internal assessment suggests that Real Madrid already have enough quality and versatility to manage without emergency signings, especially once key defenders recover and regain fitness.
