Real Madrid aren’t dealing with some issues, and the performances of Nico Paz at Como haven’t gone unnoticed. While his return via a buy-back clause is scheduled for the summer, Los Galacticos might try to do so in January already, Calciomercato informs.
They could have in the past window, but they preferred betting on Arda Guler and Franco Mastantuono as far as starlets are concerned. The arrival of Xabi Alonso has upset a few things in their locker room. Multiple players haven’t gelled with the coach and performed as well as usual. Vinicius has often been subbed off early and isn’t untouchable as in the past, while Rodrygo is in a full-fledged slump. Brahim Diaz and Endrick aren’t big parts of the new technical project. The latter is highly likely to join Olympique Lyonnais on loan in January.
If Real Madrid decide to bring in some fresh energy during the winter, Nico Paz will be top of the list. He has scored five times and provided four assists in 12 matches, leading Serie A in goal contributions.
The Spanish heavyweights can recall the Argentinian talent for €10M in July. However, they might concur to a different agreement to reward Como more profusely, Fabrizio Romano informs (via 90min).
While it’d benefit everybody involved if he finished the season in Serie A, no clause or caveat can really stop Los Merengues from doing what they prefer with a player they control and who’s chomping at the bit to star at the Santiago Bernabeu. The interest coming from other sides could contribute to speeding up the timetable.
