Real Madrid completed preparations for Mestalla in light rain, with selection issues emerging ahead of the visit to Valencia.
According to AS, Bellingham, Militao and Rodrygo missed the eve session, while Trent, Rüdiger and Mendy trained for a second straight day and look in line to return from injury.
Vinicius did train but will not feature, as he serves a suspension for accumulation of bookings. Academy players David Jiménez and Cestero were involved with the first team.
Arbeloa has enjoyed a rare full week to prepare amid a packed calendar, including work under Pintus on Wednesday when his performance masks reappeared.
Friday brought a setback with Rodrygo diagnosed with tendinosis in his right hamstring, ruling him out for about 10 days. He will miss Valencia and Real Sociedad, and the first leg of the Champions play-off with Benfica through suspension. His likely return would be against Osasuna on matchday 25.
With the squad list still pending, Arbeloa has, a priori, the absences of Vinicius, Militao, Bellingham and Rodrygo for Sunday’s 21:00 kick-off at Valencia on DAZN. He is due to speak to the media at 12:30, Spanish time.
