A transfer-linked member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid is set to stay put for next season.
That’s according to Marca, who point towards Rodrygo as the player in question.
Frontman Rodrygo has of course taken his place centre stage in the headlines across Europe for several weeks now.
This comes after a series of reports were forthcoming in the media, suggesting that the 24-year-old was seeking a new challenge this summer.
A whole host of clubs, in turn, were tipped as potential landing spots for Rodrygo, chief among them Premier League giants Arsenal and Chelsea.
The Brazilian international, though, since appears to have had a change of heart…
Rodrygo played his part in his first training session under the watch of new manager Xabi Alonso this past Monday, looking fully locked in and committed to the cause.
And according to Marca, this comes with the attacker having been convinced of his place in Alonso’s plans for the upcoming campaign.
The speculation surrounding his future in Madrid therefore appears to have been put to bed for the time being.
