Real Madrid star is 3rd on Liverpool’s summer transfer wishlist | OneFootball

A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid is considered Plan C when it comes to the summer transfer plans of Premier League champions Liverpool.

That’s according to market insider Santi Aouna, who points towards Rodrygo as the player in question.

It is of course common knowledge across the continent at this point that Liverpool are on the lookout for reinforcements in the final third heading into the new campaign.

Following the tragic passing of Diogo Jota, and the sale of Luis Díaz to Bayern Munich, the Reds have brought in just one fresh face, in the form of Hugo Ekitike.

Arne Slot and co. are in turn of the opinion that a 2nd addition is needed.

And on Thursday, an insight into the current priorities of those in the boardroom at Anfield has been provided.

As per a report from the aforementioned Santi Aouna:

‘To date, Alexander Isak remains Liverpool’s priority. The Swedish striker hopes an agreement will be reached between the Reds and Newcastle. In case of failure, Liverpool will fully focus on Bradley Barcola, whom PSG are trying to extend. Rodrygo is the third on the list.’
