Arsenal close another season without lifting any silverware. Another season, another near miss unfortunately. The Premier League escaped them by a whisker. Mikel Arteta knows it better than anyone, but surely there has to be some accountability in the process.

This summer seems to be a turning point though. Several names are circulating in the media but not all of them concrete. The board is clear that in order to take a definitive step forward, it is necessary to sign talents that will make a difference from day one.

The first pieces are already starting to fall into place. Martin Zubimendi will provide the option in the middle. Noni Madueke seems to be in line to reinforce the wing. However, one name is on the agenda, and that is Rodrygo Goes.

Rodrygo Has Placed A Demand For Arsenal

According to Defensa Central, the Brazilian would be willing to go to the Emirates. Rodrygo would prefer to play on the left flank if he ends up wearing red and white. At Real Madrid with Xabi Alonso, the Brazilian has lost his place and minutes.

In that way, he would free Martinelli or Madueke to run wide.

Triangles would be created with Riccardo Calafiori or Myles Lewis-Skelly running from the back. This tactical flexibility is definitely tempting. However, not everything shines equally. Rodrygo comes from an environment where the demands are at their highest. Swapping Madrid for London would mean the same, as the Gunners would be looking at him to stand up.

In addition, one has to wonder how he will adapt to the Premier League. The pace, the contacts and the intensity exceed what is experienced in Spain. Is he ready for such demands? If the gamble goes well, Arteta will add quality and goals. We think it is right to give him the left-wing position at Arsenal. The Gunners could then rotate between Gabriel Martinelli and Rodrygo, which will give them the attacking depth that is desperately needed. We reported earlier that
