A member of the attacking ranks at Real Madrid has managed a higher sprint speed than any other player in La Liga across the season to date.

As per statistics gathered by Kognia and BeSoccerPro, cited by Mundo Deportivo, Vinícius’ top speed of 36.21 km/h is the very best managed in Spain’s top-flight in 2025/26.

The Brazilian is closely followed by Marcus Rashford, on loan at Barcelona from Premier League giants Manchester United.

Frontman Rashford managed a Barca-best sprint speed of 36.02 km/h earlier this term.

Elsewhere, Vinícius’ attacking partner in crime, Kylian Mbappé, clocked a season-best speed of 35.04 km/h, bettered by one of the Brazilian’s international teammates, Raphinha (35.61 km/h).

The likes of Rodrygo (Real Madrid), Nico Williams (Athletic Club), Víctor Muñoz (Osasuna) and Takefusa Kubo (Real Sociedad) also sit amongst the fastest players currently plying their trade in La Liga.
