Real Madrid star limps out of Real Sociedad clash with injury | OneFootball

La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Saturday been dealt a fresh blow on the personnel front.

This comes owing to developments in the club’s meeting with Real Sociedad.

Real Madrid are of course currently locked in action, having welcomed Imanol’s Sociedad to Spain’s capital as part of the season’s final round of La Liga fixtures.

As things stand, Los Blancos lead by a goal to nil, owing to a first-half penalty on the part of top scorer Kylian Mbappé.

As alluded to above, though, it has not been all smooth sailing for the evening’s hosts at the Santiago Bernabéu.

In addition, another leading member of departing boss Carlo Ancelotti’s squad was forced into a premature departure from proceedings.

Early in the 2nd-half, Brahim Díaz went to ground off the ball, with what appeared to be a muscular concern.

It quickly became clear that the Moroccan, in turn, was in no fit state to continue, hooked by Ancelotti and his coaching staff as a result.

It now remains to be seen if Brahim is facing up to any kind of spell on the sidelines, ahead of the fast-approaching FIFA Club World Cup.
