Real Madrid star Rodrygo has taken to social media on Thursday, to send a message of appreciation to fellow countryman Neymar Jr.
This comes after the latter confirmed his return to boyhood club Santos.
Following a disastrous, injury-plagued 18 months in Saudi Arabia, Neymar recently reached an agreement with Al-Hilal to terminate his contract with immediate effect.
As much came with a view to the former Barcelona man making his way back to Brazil, to link back up the club where he made his name – Santos.
After official confirmation of the transfer was forthcoming on Thursday evening, messages of support and congratulations have since come flooding in for Neymar from across the world of football.
And amongst the first to reach out, as alluded to above, was a leading member of the attacking setup at Real Madrid.
Taking to his official Instagram account, Rodrygo, himself formerly of Santos, unveiled a photo of he and his compatriot, alongside a touching, lengthy message:
