Real Madrid star the subject of €110m Saudi approach | OneFootball

A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid is attracting late-window interest on the part of an unnamed club in Saudi Arabia.

That’s according to Defensa Central, who point towards Rodrygo as the player in question.

Frontman Rodrygo has of course seen his name take its place front and centre in the transfer chatter surrounding Real Madrid across the summer to date.

This comes after reports that the Blancos brass are open to a potential sale of the Brazilian were followed by links with a whole host of leading clubs from across the continent.

With just over a week remaining in the transfer window, Rodrygo remains a Real Madrid player.

But as alluded to above, this situation could yet change over the days ahead.

As much comes amid the understanding that a club from the big-spending Saudi Pro League have made known their willingness to splash out on Rodrygo’s signature.

As per a report from Defensa Central:

‘An intermediary has informed Madrid in the last few hours that Saudi Arabia would be willing to make a move for Rodrygo, that they would offer €110 million for the transfer and double the player’s salary.’

It is also noted that, in the case of the player himself accepting, Real Madrid would happily send Rodrygo on his way.
