According to Diario AS, Real Madrid have set their summer transfer priorities after a €165m outlay last year, and there could be further heavy investment.
Their first two additions will be the return of Endrick Felipe and Nico Paz from Olympique Lyon and Como respectively.
If all goes to plan, there will be at least three more signings before the start of next season.
PSG midfielder Vitinha is viewed as the ideal reinforcement in midfield. Landing him is considered complicated because PSG are reluctant to sell. He is under contract until 2029, and Madrid would need him to push for a move.
Dutch teenager Kees Smit, 19, is seen as the preferred alternative to Vitinha. Interest in him is growing across Europe, and AZ Alkmaar are said to be asking €60m.
Defence is also a concern, with centre-back depth flagged. David Alaba and Antonio Rudiger are out of contract this summer, which would leave only Dean Huijsen, Raul Asencio and Eder Militao as senior options.
Como’s Jacobo Ramon tops the shortlist. He impressed after joining last summer, Madrid hold an €8m buyback, and he is waiting on their decision.
Los Blancos have also re-established contact with Liverpool defender Ibrahim’s Konate this week. The Frenchman is out of contract this summer.
