While Alvaro Arbeloa had just reassured everyone at the press conference, it is now confirmed that Kylian Mbappé will be sidelined for the second-leg playoff between Real Madrid and Benfica.
Suffering from persistent knee pain since December, Kylian Mbappé was unable to finish training with his teammates this Tuesday. The Frenchman is ruled out for the Champions League clash against Benfica on Wednesday, according to reports from L'Equipe.
This time, the former PSG star, even gritting his teeth, is simply unable to take the field. For now, the length of Mbappé's absence remains unknown.
