La Liga outfit Real Sociedad have on Monday been afforded some altogether positive news on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation that Igor Zubeldia has rejoined group training alongside the rest of Imanol’s squad.
Defender Zubeldia was for his part forced to sit out over the weekend, as Sociedad secured a return to winning ways in La Liga courtesy of a 2-1 downing of Espanyol.
The 27-year-old was forced into a premature departure from La Real’s midweek Copa del Rey victory over Osasuna, with a fresh knee issue.
As confirmed by Mundo Deportivo, though, on Monday, Zubeldia was back in the thick of things in San Sebastian, completing the entirety of group training alongside his teammates.
The stopper is therefore expected to be passed fit to play his part against Midtjylland in the Europa League on Thursday.
Still absent from Sociedad training this morning, on the other hand, was Aihen Muñoz.
