Real Sociedad members almost fill Copa final allocation in two days | OneFootball

Real Sociedad fans have flooded the Copa del Rey final ticket process in under 48 hours of it opening.

The club said thousands of applications have arrived via its online form, leaving fewer than 2,500 member seats unclaimed from the allocation reserved for socios. After talks with the Spanish federation in Las Rozas, the Basque side will receive 25,680 tickets at La Cartuja.

Under the distribution plan, 85 percent is ring-fenced for members, about 21,828 seats. So far, 4,682 requests come from members with more than 25 years’ seniority, while those under 25 years account for 6,860 registrations representing 14,704 people.

The registration window, which opened on Monday, closes on Friday 13 March at 20:00. If, as expected, demand exceeds supply, a notarised ballot will follow on a date still to be confirmed.

Real supporters will have a fan zone on Avenida de Carlos III in Seville, next to the La Cartuja halt.

La Real’s last cup final came in 2021, when pandemic restrictions prevented travel to Seville or celebrations in the streets of Donostia. Anticipation around Anoeta is high for the 18 April meeting with Atlético de Madrid, and the city will provide a giant screen and other surprises for the occasion.
