Real Sociedad stalwart address future following strong interest from Atletico Madrid | OneFootball

Atletico Madrid have been seemingly making moves in the transfer market over the last few weeks, as they aim to overhaul Diego Simeone’s squad ahead of next season. One area that is being particularly focused upon is the defence, and one of their leading targets is Robin Le Normand.

According to reports, Atleti have already agreed personal terms with Le Normand, who is currently with the Spain squad at Euro 2024. Negotiations have been ongoing with Real Sociedad, and there is confidence that a deal could be agreed upon very soon.

Le Normand was asked by Radio MARCA about his future, and as expected, he provided a deflective answer.

“I’m focused on the national team, we’ll talk after the European Championship. Here, we only talk about the opponents and the training pipes.”

Le Normand would be a top signing for Atletico Madrid, and his presence in Simeone’s squad for next season would greatly help improve upon the defensive displays that were shown last season. For now, the matter remains open, but it could be resolved soon.
