Rennes host Toulouse in Ligue 1 at Roazhon Park on Saturday, 28 February 2026, with the hosts in sixth chasing Europe and the visitors in 10th looking to climb the table.
The reverse fixture finished 2-2, and Rennes currently occupy the Conference League qualifying berth. Toulouse arrive mid-table and targeting a steadier league run.
Rennes have hit back with consecutive league wins, beating Paris Saint-Germain 3-1 before a 3-0 victory at Auxerre, after three straight defeats. Toulouse are winless in four league matches, drawing with Auxerre and Paris FC either side of defeats at Angers and Le Havre.
Team news could matter. Rennes list Przemysław Frankowski, Glen Kamara and Jérémy Jacquet as injured. Toulouse are without Cristian Cásseres through suspension, while Rasmus Nicolaisen, Alex Domínguez, Abu Francis, Emersonn, Rafik Messali and Ilyas Azizi are sidelined.
Franck Haise's side have scored 37 league goals with 51% possession and sharp 84.55% passing, and could again lean on Estéban Lepaul, third in the Ligue 1 scoring chart with 12, plus Mousa Al-Taamari's supply line of four assists. Toulouse have eight clean sheets, win plenty in the air and may look to contain before striking through Yann Gboho, on six league goals, with Santiago Hidalgo among their creators.
A home win would strengthen Rennes' grip on sixth and their European push. An away victory could pull Toulouse towards the top half and tighten the mid-table picture.
