Stade Rennais will travel to RC Strasbourg on Sunday at 17:15 for matchday 30 of Ligue 1 without captain Valentin Rongier, who is suspended, and defender Przemyslaw Frankowski, who is injured. According to L'Équipe, both are unavailable.

Rongier’s ban follows an accumulation of five yellow cards. Franck Haise has not ruled out moving away from his current 4-4-2. If he sticks with it, Sebastian Szymanski could come in and the armband would pass to Brice Samba.

Frankowski experienced minor muscular discomfort early in the week and should be available again after Strasbourg.

At right-back, Alidu Seidu is fit after being rested following the 2-1 win over Angers last Saturday.

Striker Arnaud Nordin missed the past two matches with a muscle problem, returned to full training this week and will rejoin the squad.
