Arsenal are looking to sign the Sevilla midfielder Lucien Agoume during the January transfer window.

The 23-year-old defensive midfielder has done well for Sevilla, and he could prove to be a useful acquisition for Arsenal. The North London outfit are looking to add more defensive depth in the middle of the park, and they believe that the 23-year-old Frenchman would be the ideal acquisition.

He is young enough to improve further, and he has the physical and technical attributes to thrive in the Premier League. As per Fichajes, the player has a €40 million (£35m) release clause in his contract, and Arsenal have the finances to afford him. It remains to be seen whether they follow up on their interest with an official offer to get the deal done.
