Chelsea are among the Premier League clubs who have enquired about Wolves youngster Mateus Mane according to reports.

Whilst Chelsea are expected to be quiet in the January window, they are likely to be looking for the best young talents, and could add some players for the future.

The Blues are always on the look out for the stars of the future, and agreed a deal last year for 16-year-old centre back Deinner Ordonez who will join the club in January 2028.

Chelsea have Wolves star Mateus Mane on their radar

Chelsea have heavily targeted the South American market to varying degrees of success under the Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital ownership.

Andrey Santos and Estevao are two players who are currently having an impact in the first team, and have impressed this season.

However, it appears the Blues could also be looking a little closer to home, and TEAMtalk have reported they have Mane on their radar.

The report adds Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham have all made enquiries with Mane’s camp to inform them of their interest.

Although TEAMtalk add the 18-year-old is happy at Wolves and is in no hurry to leave the club despite them being bottom of the league.

Mane, who came through the academy at Rochdale and joined Wolves in 2024 has two goals and two assists in ten Premier League appearances this season.

Chelsea need first team signings

Whilst it’s great to secure talent for the future and sign exciting young players, the Blues need proven quality to improve the first team.

It’s believed to be unlikely Chelsea will do anything this month unless an unexpected opportunity arises or any injuries occur.

However, the priority for the summer is believed to be a central midfield player to help ease the burden on Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo.
