Report – Inter Milan Develop Serious Interest In Hellas Verona Wingback Amid Denzel Dumfries Absence | OneFootball

Serie A giants Inter Milan have reportedly developed a genuine interest in Hellas Verona wingback Rafik Belghali.

According to L’Arena via FCInter1908, the Algerian defender has impressed the Nerazzurri hierarchy this season.

Rafik Belghali joined Verona from Belgian side KV Mechelen in the summer, quickly becoming a key player in Paolo Zanetti’s system.

Indeed, the 23-year-old has featured in all 15 Serie A games this season, tallying 13 consecutive starts.

Furthermore, the versatile wingback has bagged two goals.

Despite forking out just €2 million to sign Belghali, Verona will likely sell their in-demand star for at least five times that figure.

In fact, Zanetti’s men have slapped a €14 million price tag on their rising star ahead of a prospective transfer tug-of-war.

In addition to Inter Milan, Juventus have also shown interest in the Algerian, who will participate in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations.
