Report – Inter Milan Eyeing Up Palmeiras Star As Potential Replacement For Italy & Turkey Internationals | OneFootball

Inter Milan are eyeing up Palmeiras midfielder Richard Rios as a potential replacement for Hakan Calhanoglu and Davide Frattesi.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews.

Inter Milan are thinking about the future of their midfield.

There are a couple of big names who could depart this summer transfer window.

Firstly, there is the situation of Hakan Calhanoglu. Reportedly, Galatasaray want to sign the Turkish international this summer.

And Galatasaray’s interest in Calhanoglu has made some waves within the Inter squad.

Nerazzurri captain Lautaro Martinez not-so-subtly called Calhanoglu out for his flirtations with the Turkish champions.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid are reportedly keen on signing Davide Frattesi.

The Italian international has been linked with an exit from Inter for some time. He had reportedly already asked for a move away in January, as a result of a lack of playing time.

As a result of uncertainty around the futures of Calhanoglu and Frattesi, Inter are considering their options in midfield.

And according to Sky Sport italia, one name in particular has come onto the Nerazzurri’s radar.

Inter are looking at 25-year-old Palmeiras and Colombia midfielder Richard Rios as a target.

If either Calhanoglu or Frattesi are to leave this summer, the Nerazzurri would be ready to move for Rios.
