Talks between Inter Milan and Galatasaray have yet to start.

However, the Turkish heavyweights are reportedly willing to match the Nerazzurri’s €35 million asking price.

Yet, Inter would have to agree to a loan deal with an obligation to buy.

In that case, Galatasaray would pay a €5m loan fee and commit to purchasing Davide Frattesi for €35m in the summer.

Convincing Inter to give their go-ahead might not be Galatasaray’s only problem, as they would still have to persuade Frattesi.

However, the former Sassuolo midfielder seems to have already made up his mind and is willing to accept the Lions’ proposal.

It’s uncertain whether Inter would use the money from Frattesi’s departure to sign a new wingback now that they failed to land Joao Cancelo.
