Serie A pacesetters Inter Milan are reportedly desperate to reinforce the right wing in the January transfer window.

According to the Italian media via FCInterNews, signing a new wingback has become a top priority for the club.

With Denzel Dumfries set to stay in the pits until March, there’s a gap on the right flank.

Indeed, marquee summer signing Luis Henrique has fallen short of expectations, prompting the Nerazzurri to return to the market.

Furthermore, Inter have already earmarked several potential targets, including Hellas Verona star Rafik Belghali.

Belghali joined the Gialloblu from KV Mechelen in the summer, quickly becoming one of Serie A’s most highly rated wingbacks.

However, the Algerian defender cannot leave Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi until the end of the season.

Therefore, he is not an option for Inter this winter.
