Inter Milan chiefs have reportedly run out of patience for out-of-favor duo Marko Arnautovic and Joaquin Correa.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the second-string strikers could wave goodbye to Giuseppe Meazza in January.

Simone Inzaghi’s side hoped to offload Arnautovic and Correa during the summer transfer window.

However, both players rejected several foreign advances.

While Arnautovic turned down offers from Turkey, Correa refused to move to the Saudi Pro League.

Meanwhile, Inter signed Mehdi Taremi on a free transfer.

The former Porto star joined the Nerazzurri as a back-up option for the first-choice pairing, Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram.

Unfortunately, his early life in Serie A has been far from promising.

Yet to get on the scoresheet, Taremi risks joining the abovementioned duo on the chopping block.

But Inter will give him the benefit of the doubt this season.

That doesn’t apply to Arnautovic and Correa.

Inter Milan Lose Patience for Marko Arnautovic & Joaquin Correa

Both players knew the risks when they forced their stay at Giuseppe Meazza in the summer.

Simone Inzaghi made it abundantly clear they’ll be on the fringes.

And he has lived up to his word.

In addition to his omission from the UEFA Champions League list, Correa has only amassed 38 minutes in Serie A.

As for Arnautovic, he scored once in Europe. However, he has barely collected four league appearances spanning 38 minutes.

Therefore, the reigning Scudetto holders contemplate selling both underachieving forwards this winter.

Indeed, it’s Inter’s last chance to cash in on Arnautovic and Correa.

Their contracts at Meazza run out at the end of the campaign.

One way or another, they’ll part company with the Nerazzurri in less than a year.

On the other hand, Taremi must tread carefully.

Despite his decent overall performance, he has gone ten Serie A matches without scoring.

His career at Inter could soon be in jeopardy unless he laces up scoring boots.
