Serie A giants Inter Milan are reportedly reluctant to offer veteran goalkeeper Yann Sommer a new contract.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInter1908, this could be the 36-year-old’s last season at San Siro.
Yann Sommer joined Inter from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2023 to replace Andre Onana.
Despite his age, he has always offered a top-notch performance, nailing the starting berth as his own.
However, it may not be enough for another renewal.

Sommer, who will turn 37 in December, has entered the final year of his contract at San Siro.
Despite demonstrating his class in Serie A, the former Borussia Monchengladbach star could retire elsewhere.
Indeed, the 20-time Italian champions are considering cutting ties with Sommer at the end of the season.
However, he will likely remain Cristian Chivu’s first option in goal ahead of Josep Martinez.
Meanwhile, the Spaniard could become a new No.1 next term.
As for Sommer, he emerged as a potential target for Galatasaray during the summer transfer window.
Therefore, he could move to Turkey once his contract at Inter has expired.
