Inter Milan Iran star Mehdi Taremi has left Tehran after finding himself stuck in the Iran capital amid ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
Per Gazzetta dello Sport, Taremi found a way out of the city earlier today and is on his way to join his family in his hometown of Bushehr.
These past few days have been a living hell for Mehdi Taremi.
Indeed, the escalating tensions made it nearly impossible for him to leave the capital, raising serious concerns about his safety.
However, the 32-year-old is now in a safer area far from the bombings. Which started 12 days ago when Israel launched an attack on Iran.

Taremi has already informed Inter boss Cristian Chivu and the backroom staff of his successful mission to leave Tehran.
Hopefully, the former Porto striker will soon be able to travel halfway across the world to meet his teammates.
Meanwhile, his Inter clubmates are preparing for a crunch FIFA World Cup fixture against River Plate.
On the other side of the world, the Serie A runners-up are enjoying a far calmer setting.
